Easy to install like any door knob. App is fine as long as you stay away from the chinese version I think.
The only hiccup was that it took me a few days to realize that the door knob was OK. I thought the thing was broken, but the fingerprint reader is just a bit finicky. You really have to learn exactly how to put your finger on it but now I rarely get a failure at all.
